Biography

13 Ağustos 1972 tarihinde Boston A.B.D'de doğan Alper TUNCEL, 1990 yılında başkentin ilk özel eğitim kurumlarından olan Ankara Özel Yükseliş Koleji'nden mezun oldu. 1997 yılında en çok istediği ve tercih ettiği, İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi bölümünde tıp lisans eğitimini tamamladı. Fakülteye girdiği andan itibaren kendisine en yakın gördüğü cerrahi dal olan Estetik Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi ihtisasını hedef olarak belirleyen Op. Dr. Alper TUNCEL, 2004 yılında yüksek lisans eğitimini Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi Uzmanlığı dalında tamamladı. Aynı üniversitede 1998-2004 tarihleri arasında Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi Asistanı olarak görev yapan Dr. Alper TUNCEL, 6 senelik ihtisası sonunda aynı zamanda doğduğu hastane de olan, Boston MGH (Mass. General Hospital) ve Harvard Medical School'un maksillofasyal cerrahlarından olan Dr. Yaremchuk ile uzunca sayılabilecek bir süre aktif olarak çalıştıktan sonra elde etmiş olduğu bilgi ve tecrübeyi kendi ülkesinde hastalarına aktarmak idealiyle Türkiye'ye geri döndü. Mezuniyeti sonrası Estetik Plastik Cerrahların en iyi ve en verimli çalışabileceği sistemin serbest çalışma ortamı olduğunun bilinciyle 3 yıl boyunca çalıştığı 2 özel hastaneden ayrılarak serbest çalışma hayatına atılmıştır.

From my birthplace of Boston, through Marmara University, my Harvard collaboration with Dr. Yaremchuk, and finally my independent clinic today, one conviction has remained: results worth having are unhurried, measured, and timeless.
